Furthering the business' plan for global expansion, STANLEY BLACK & DECKER (SBD), an S&P 500 company, comes together with GMT Hardware Enterprise Corp. (GMT), a manufacturer of mechanical access products and owner of dominant distributional network of commercial hardware in China and south-east Asia. The two companies of SBD and GMT, which are mutually complementary in products and in channels, formed a new company, STANLEY GMT HARDWARE Co., Ltd. (SGMT) , on November 2010 in China. SGMT will succeed the honors and unite the greats, and to create multiple wins for every of our associates.



The strategic cooperation brings significance for China hardware market by introducing the total access solution and by upgrading the industry with better management skills and controls. We will keep devoting ourselves in sales channel building and maintaining.
